TRANS Family Services welcomes its second group of volunteer befrienders on 23 August 2025! The group of 11 volunteers attended a full-day training session, which included interactive activities and a panel discussion featuring experienced befrienders who shared their journeys and insights. The session is designed to equip befrienders with the skills and confidence to build meaningful relationships with seniors and children in the community. By fostering these connections, TRANS Family Services continues to strengthen social bonds and promote a lasting positive impact. On 5 July 2025, TRANS Family Services hosted its first-ever Fun Day at Universal Studios Singapore. A total of 288 staff, family members, and friends came together to enjoy a Saturday filled with laughter, thrilling rides, sweet treats, and countless photo-worthy moments. It was a chance to pause, unwind, and connect beyond the workplace. At TRANS Family Services, we believe that strong teams are built not only through shared work but also through shared moments. TFS Fun Day was our way of celebrating our incredible people — and the families who support them every step of the way.
On 2 August 2025, a contingent of staff proudly represented TRANS Family Services at Kampong Chai Chee Community Club's National Day Observance Ceremony at Heartbeat@Bedok. More than just a celebration, the invitation was a meaningful recognition of our dedication to the community and a reminder of the strong bonds we share with the people we serve. We are honoured to stand alongside our community partners and neighbours in marking Singapore’s birthday, and we look forward to continuing this journey of care and connection together.

For the past few years, our Family Service Centres in Bedok and Bedok Reservoir have been privileged to collaborate with Singapore Red Cross (SRC) on Project R.I.C.E.+; an annual flagship initiative with Sheng Siong supermarket which provides household necessities to low-income families, elderly individuals living alone, and residents facing financial difficulties. Ration packs include essential food and necessities, providing immediate relief for families’ daily needs and reassuring them that the community cares for their well-being. This year, the distribution drives took place on 28 June 2025 at TRANS FSC (Bedok Reservoir) and 16 August 2025 at TRANS FSC (Bedok), with over 970 sets of rations distributed to 156 families in total. Volunteers from TRANS Family Services and SRC worked together to ensure smooth and efficient distribution. We would like to extend our gratitude to SRC and Sheng Siong supermarket for the yearly partnership.
TRANS FOCUS Active Ageing Centre (AAC) gratefully acknowledges the generous donation of 200 boxes of bird’s nest from Heng Foh Tong Medical Hall. The gift was warmly received by our seniors on 12 May 2025. We deeply appreciate this thoughtful contribution, which supports our ongoing efforts to promote the health and well-being of the seniors in our community.
