Our TRANS FOCUS Active Ageing Centre (AAC) seniors brought home silver this year, placing second overall in boccia at the Senior National Games 2026, held on 4 August at the OCBC Arena.
They took part in three events: boccia, disc golf, and sport stacking.
It was the boccia team that stood out, securing second place overall, a result that reflects months of training and the close bonds built along the way. The Guest of Honour for the event, Ms Low Yen Ling, Senior Minister of State at the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth and the Ministry of Trade and Industry, presented the prize to our seniors in recognition of their achievement. The disc golf and sport stacking team won gold at the western zonal heats.
Beyond the medal, the day was a celebration of active ageing and the joy of friendly competition. It is proof that age is no barrier to staying active and connected. A big congratulations and heartfelt thank you to our seniors for their dedication and spirit.
