On Saturday, 20 December 2025, TRANS Family Services (Bedok) proudly hosted its first Community Farming Partners Meeting & Appreciation Lunch, bringing together community partners, residents, and volunteers who have been instrumental in nurturing its community rooftop garden. The session was a meaningful walk down memory lane, as participants reflected on the garden’s growth journey from its early beginnings to its current flourishing state. To date, the garden has supported the cultivation of over 30 varieties of herbs and vegetables, with harvests benefiting more than 50 households through various donation drives. Beyond the appreciation lunch, the meeting also served as a platform for open discussion. Participants exchanged ideas and explored practical solutions to sustain the garden and deter acts of mischief at the rooftop garden, reaffirming a shared commitment to maintaining the space for the community’s benefit.
