Project R.I.C.E.+ 2026: Over 1000 care packs distributed

TRANS FSC (Bedok) and TRANS FSC (Bedok Reservoir) collaborated with the Singapore Red Cross (SRC) again this year in support of Project R.I.C.E.+, continuing a partnership that provides vulnerable residents in the Bedok community a little more security in their day-to-day lives. The project is SRC’s annual nationwide initiative to assist low-income families, vulnerable elderly members, and individuals facing financial difficulties.

Through the collective efforts of both Family Service Centres, families in need received essential food and personal care items. In June 2026, TRANS FSC (Bedok) distributed 850 bundles to 109 families. The following month, TRANS FSC (Bedok Reservoir) prepared 492 bundles, benefiting 64 families and counting. Most of the bundles were distributed during collection drives held on 27 June and 11 July 2026.

Volunteers, staff, and community partners worked together to ensure support reached those who needed it most, reflecting the strength of collaboration between various stakeholders. We would like to thank the Singapore Red Cross for their continued partnership in making this possible.
