It was a Sunday wafting with the aroma of coffee for youth clients from TRANS FSC (Bedok) and TRANS FSC (Bedok Reservoir)! With the support of the EtonHouse Community Fund, they were engaged in a workshop at the EtonHouse Garden By the Bay where they learnt the history of coffee, basic coffee-brewing operations, as well as the sustainability of the coffee industry. This opportunity also led them to discover their interest in this area and sparked the possibility of barista work as a career pathway.
Following the workshop, the 32 youths and their families were treated to a visit to the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome. It was a day well-spent as they were given the chance to appreciate nature and bond with their families.
