On 20 December 2025, TRANS Family Services collaborated with Rohde & Schwarz (R&S) Asia to celebrate the festive season by throwing a joyful Christmas party for families! Families enjoyed a range of festive highlights, including an entertaining balloon show, delicious, sweet treats and the much-anticipated arrival of Santa Claus, who delighted children by presenting them with their Christmas gifts generously donated by staff of R&S Asia The event was made even more special through the involvement of TRANS FOCUS Active Ageing Centre seniors, who led engaging games such as fishing, frisbee, memory challenge, snakes and ladders and bowling — creating meaningful moments of inter-generational bonding. We would also like to thank Senior Minister of State and Grassroots Adviser Mr Tan Kiat How, who graced the event and gave heartfelt well-wishes to the families. Around 85 attendees came to celebrate this joyous occasion. TRANS Family Services extends its sincere appreciation to R&S Asia and our dedicated TFS staff and volunteers for their collective efforts in making the celebration a meaningful and memorable one.
On Saturday, 20 December 2025, TRANS Family Services (Bedok) proudly hosted its first Community Farming Partners Meeting & Appreciation Lunch, bringing together community partners, residents, and volunteers who have been instrumental in nurturing its community rooftop garden. The session was a meaningful walk down memory lane, as participants reflected on the garden’s growth journey from its early beginnings to its current flourishing state. To date, the garden has supported the cultivation of over 30 varieties of herbs and vegetables, with harvests benefiting more than 50 households through various donation drives. Beyond the appreciation lunch, the meeting also served as a platform for open discussion. Participants exchanged ideas and explored practical solutions to sustain the garden and deter acts of mischief at the rooftop garden, reaffirming a shared commitment to maintaining the space for the community’s benefit. The gathering marked an important milestone in our community farming journey—one rooted in partnership, shared ownership, and collective care. Thank you to our dedicated residents, volunteers, and partners from the Singapore Police Force, East Coast Town Council, NParks, Rainbow Ville Residents’ Network, City Sprouts for your collective support.
On 23 November 2025, TRANS Family Services (Bedok & Bedok Reservoir) collaborated with EtonHouse Community Fund to host a family bonding and enrichment outing at Gardens by the Bay and EtonHouse Garden School by the Bay for families with children aged 7 to 12 years old. The programme aimed to create shared memories and strengthen parent-child relationships through hands-on learning. Children participated in a photography workshop that encouraged creativity and nature exploration, while caregivers attended a parenting workshop that provided practical tips to support positive communication at home. Interactive engagement activities further promoted curiosity, teamwork, and meaningful connection among families. A total of 37 participants joined the event. We are grateful for the support of our community partners, who play a vital role in strengthening family bonds and enhancing overall well-being. Together, we look forward to creating more opportunities for families to learn, grow, and thrive through future collaborations!
