We provide consultations face-to-face and over the phone for information about family violence, avenues of help and available resources. Referrals to other community partners may be made where appropriate.

We work closely with individuals and their families, either on a voluntary or a mandatory (court mandated) basis, to assess safety needs and concerns and develop appropriate intervention plans.

We facilitate the application of Personal Protection Order for survivors of family violence through a video link service with the Family Justice Courts at the premises of TRANS SAFE Centre. Through this process, survivors can also receive professional support while exploring their options. Currently, application of PPO is prioritised for high risk and vulnerable clients. The designated appointment slots available are on Mondays and Thursdays, 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm. We facilitate learning, support and therapy through tailored group sessions to promote the psychological and emotional well-being of individuals and families.

We are committed to developing capabilities of the professionals involved in the management of family violence through the provision of talks and training.

We conduct research to increase awareness and knowledge of family violence in the local context.

We provide free legal consultation for vulnerable adults and their families every last Thursday evening of the month 7- 9pm (by appointments only).

Eligibility: Vulnerable adult*, family member, legal guardian or significant others. Call or email transsafe@trans.org.sg to check.

*Definition of vulnerable adult: An individual aged 18 and above, who by reason of mental or physical infirmity, disability or incapacity, is incapable of protecting himself from abuse, neglect or self-neglect. The clinic is staffed by law and social work professionals.
